JENBACH MUSEUM The museum with its 700 m2 floor space and 19 rooms is dedicated to the following themes, showing exhibits, photographs, and documents:Industry: scythe manufacture, Jenbacher Werke, trainsNature: butterflies, birds, fungi, snails, shellsSport: alpine and winter sportHistory: Jenbach, important people from Jenbach, the South Tyrol "Option" of 1939 ACHENSEE STEAM COG RAILWAY The world's oldest steam-powered cog rail trains are over 117 years old. Whistling locomotives, hissing and steaming vents, pounding pistons, and hammering exhaust bursts guarantee an unforgettable steam train experience. Starting at the Jenbach train station, the journey to the Achensee takes 45 minutes and overcomes a gradient of 16 %. The Achensee is the largest lake of the Tyrol. There is a direct connection to the ships on the Achensee. TRATZBERG CASTLE Tratzberg Castle was built in the year 1500 high above the Inn valley between Jenbach and Stans, and was a hunting castle in th times of Emperor Maximilian I and the Fuggers. The late-gothic marvel was extensively furnished in the Renaissance and has been the home of the Counts Enzenberg since 1848. In perfect condition and completely furnished Tratzberg Castle provides its visitors a fascination audio experience (for children in the shape of a fairy tale) that showcases the impressive history of the place. THE KRIMML FALLS The Krimml Falls - the highest in Europe - with their impressive height of 380 m across three levels are the fifth-highest waterfalls on the planet. Constructed by the Austrian Alpine Association (ÖAV), a hiking path leads directly to this breathtaking natural spectacle. Experience the refreshing spray and the impressive strength of the water in the marvellous mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park. KÖNIGSLEITEN OBSERVATORY See the sky up close, in the highest observatory in Europe. The first glimpse through a telescope is something few people will ever forget - bizarre moon landscapes, the cloud bands of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, glittering star clusters, they all take our minds into other worlds. Gaze through our telescopes and discover shining gas nebulae or galaxies in the depths of space. SCHWAZ PLANETARIUM Be a bit closer to the sky in the Zeiss Planetarium in Schwaz. Aided by precision instruments, effect projectors, and audiovisual equipment, the events taking place above our heads in the cosmos are shown and explained. The constant changing of the shows makes the Zeiss Planetarium a cosmic cinema. RATTENBERG Close by the Inn river, the medieval city of Rattenberg - the smallest in Austria - hugs the mountainside. Its 600 inhabitants live in restored town houses. Rattenberg is also called the "Glass City", offering everything that makes glass beautiful: engraved and painted glass, crystal glass, dishes, cups, bowls, etc. You can also watch glassblowers demostrate their skills. SCHWAZ SILVER MINE Experience a fascinating adventure below ground in the silver mine in Schwaz. The exciting journey back into the medieval past starts with an early highlight: the ride 800 m into the Sigmund tunnel, begun in 1491. The miners in Schwaz had the best know-how of the time and made Schwaz the biggest mining centre in Central Europe and the second largest locality in the Habsburg Empire. We gladly give you a free demostration of the art of candle manufacture.   WOLFSKLAMM GORGE ST. GEORGENBERG It was over 100 years ago that the Wolfsklamm in Stans was opened. Since then, thousands of vitors have seen this natural spectacle, and the Stallenbach with its white spray and emerald-green glow in the depths, will continue to rumble through the gorge. The wooden footbridges are technical masterpieces and take you to the Georgenberg, the entrance to the Alpine Park Karwendel. GRAVEYARD MUSEUM "WITHOUT THE DEAD" A trip to the city of Rattenberg is ideal for a visit of the so-called "exemplary cemetary". This cemetary "without the dead", which has been put together with a lot of hard work by the Guggenberger Family, beautiful examples of old craftsmanship have found a new home. Visitors are inspired by the inscriptions to consider life and death in a pleasant and contemplative atmosphere. SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL WORLDS IN WATTENS Embedded in a mysterious park, a glittering fairy-tale landscape awaits you and invites you to dream. The multimedia artist André Heller designed 14 underground chambers for the centenary of the Swarovski Company in 1995, creating a genuine marvel. Winter Fun in the Snow - Zillertal Arena

A special Winter - in Zell am Ziller ! Experience the ultimate in winter sports fun in the idyllic holiday resort of Zell am Ziller, at an altitude of 580 m! Summer Holidays in Zell am Ziller, Zillertal Arena

With approx. 2000 inhabitants and a size of 2.4 km² Zell am Ziller is the heart of the Zillertal valley. A former gold mining center and now the main market town of the valley, Zell am Ziller is well developed for summer and winter sports. On an area of more than 45,000 m2 you will find every possible leasure facility: outdoor pools, slides, adventure playground, two beach volleyball courts, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, crazy golf, bowling lanes, fun court (volleyball, streetball, basketball), and finally the Garden of the Senses. The leisure park in Zell offers many options for tennis lovers. On the 3 indoor courts with their two glass fronts you can enjoy a fantastic view of Zell and its surroundings even while playing. During the outdoor season, 4 outdoor courts and a tennis training wall are ready to be used. The last September Sunday is the day the cows return from numerous alpine pastures to their cowsheds. The return of healthy cows is marked with a great festival. Farmers drive their decorated cattle back home to their farms. They are celebrated by countless guests and locals. The festival of the cattle drive is celebrated extensively. Fun and entertainment with Zillertal music, farmers' market, "Schuhplattler" folklore groups, and much more. At the farmers' market you can experience old Zillertal craft and art, and there is a lot of traditional food to enjoy, from Zillertal and Tyrolean specialities such as "Zillertaler Krapfen" and "Melchermuas", and you can buy schnapps, honey, and cheeses directly from the farmers who make them, as a special souvenir to take home and remember the festival by. Whatever you do, one thing is certain – the magnificent mountain panorama of the Zillertal Arena will stay in your memory for a long, long time!
